Fundraising

Commissioning new works and concerts involving orchestras are expensive for the choir and members and volunteers have many ingenious ways of raising money.

In 2013 we raised in excess of £15,000 towards our Cathedral Anniversary concert through coffee mornings, a sponsored slim, a silent auction, charity stalls, raffles and plant sales and many other events too numerous to mention. We have also applied for several grants from charitable trusts and other sponsors.
