guildford-concert-flyer01 A Concert for Rowan
May 23rd 2015, Guildford Cathedral

In aid of The Rainbow Trust

Help us celebrate life and raise money for the future!

Join over 300 musicians for a spectacular fund-raising concert for the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. Singers from Guildford, Salisbury and London will be joined by local children’s choirs and Guildford’s professional orchestra – Southern Pro Musica – for an evening of wonderful music celebrating life, love and the joy of working together to benefit others.

Will Todd is based in Guildford and composed ‘Call of Wisdom’ for the Diamond Choir, specially commissioned for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Will has also had considerable success around the world, particularly with his jazzy Mass in Blue, and jazz rhythms and soaring melodies are at the heart of The City Garden – a foot-tapping journey of romance through the seasons.

Bob Chilcott is one of the UK’s best-loved choral composers and is in demand around the world as a composer and conductor. His Salisbury Vespers is a modern setting of an ancient service, and uses an exciting combination of rhythm and melody to create a memorable musical experience.
